The Bleeding Carrot is very excited to present a recently formed duo of beautiful musicians. These two will make your ears very happy!

Juno-nominated acoustic singer-songwriter Sheila Carabine is one half of the award-winning Canadian folk duo Dala. Sheila has spent more than a decade on the North American indie and folk music scene, touring with popular musical acts including Chantal Kreviazuk, Tom Cochrane, Jann Arden, Matthew Good and the CBC’s Vinyl Café. Dala have been nominated for multiple Canadian Folk Music Awards, and in 2010 they were awarded “Vocal Group of the Year”. In 2011, Dala’s PBS Special “Girls From The North Country” was nominated for a Juno Award. Sheila recently released her debut solo album “All In”, following an extended stay in an Acadian community in St. Mary’s Bay, Nova Scotia.

Brian MacMillan is a well-loved singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has released three solo albums. He has performed with Barenaked Ladies, Wailin’ Jennys, Garth Hudson, John McDermott and Lowest Of The Low.
